The LAWAREC laser and radar irradiation detection system is designed to increase the defensive capabilities of military vehicles and vessels. It detects, analyzes and locates the emissions of radar and laser sources. Upon detecting a threat, it alerts the crew, indicates the direction of the source and automatically suggests a suitable countermeasure, such as firing smoke grenades to prevent the enemy from further targeting the vehicle.
