SAR 15T series is a 100 percent locally produced and modernized version of the legendary AK-47 platform. SAR 15T series, which is currently used by the Turkish Armed Forces, stands out as a much lighter infantry rifle, while it displays a modern appearance with its high-strength polymer magazine reinforced with steel parts, butt and stock. SAR 15T series, which exhibits a superior performance in all climatic conditions, offers single and serial shot options together. SAR 15T series, which has two versions, provides the user with the advantage of comfortable carrying with its folding telescopic butt stock option as well as the fixed stock. With a 7.62x39 mm caliber, this legendary assault rifle offers 650 rounds per minute and a muzzle velocity of 680m/s while it operates with a gas piston-driven system.
