Multipurpose Disaster Vessel 65M
The successful launch of the 65-meter Multipurpose Disaster Vessel (MDV) by Noahtu Shipyard in Jakarta on January 16, 2025, is a design by Terafulk Megantara Design. The vessel, commissioned by the Ministry of Defense for use by the Indonesian Army (TNI AD), is a multipurpose ship with missions beyond logistics and troop transport. It also functions as an Emergency Response Vessel for Disaster Relief Operations and Emergency Medical Response, with the capability for beaching and unbeaching. The ship has a length of 65 meters, a width of 14 meters, a height of 4.6 meters, and a maximum speed of 16 knots. It is equipped with facilities such as a helicopter landing pad, a vehicle deck, a mobile field kitchen, a medium excavator, a mobile generator set, and an ambulance.

SANCAR IS REMOTELY CONTROLLED VIA RF/GSM/SATELLITE BY A GROUND CONTROL STATION. IT HAS ALSO AUTONOMOUS NAVIGATION/MISSION CAPABILITY. IT IS EQUIPPED WITH A 12.7MM TURRET AND A SHORT-RANGE SSM G/M SYSTEM. G/M SYSTEM CAN BE REPLACED WITH A SONAR SYSTEM FOR MCM MISSION ROLE. BOAT IS POWERED WITH 2xDIESEL ENGINES AND 2xWATERJET SYSTEM. SPEED OF THE BOAT CAN REACH UP TO 40KTS. THE RANGE AT ECONOMICAL SPEED IS 450 NM. IT IS CAPABLE TO OPERATE UP TO 70 HOURS WITH ECONOMICAL SPEED. EBS MAC
Using our expertise in gabion mesh, we have developed a high-quality cellular containment structure, EBS MAC previously known as DefenCell MAC, to provide force protection against a range of ordnance, explosive and vehicle attack. EBS MAC is based on our original wire mesh troop protection bastions, first used in WW1; now brought up to date to meet today’s demands. Available in a range of sizes, EBS MAC can be rapidly deployed and is filled on site with available fill material to provide a modular barrier. The units can be stacked to form taller structures as needed to protect bases, camps, depots, vehicles or other infrastructure. The units are also used in civilian settings to protect key buildings, airpots, infrastructure, or other installations at risk of an attack. EBS MAC is a multicellular structure made of welded wire mesh. The mesh is lined with a non-woven geotextile sleeve which forms an internal lining for each cell. Each lining sleeve is overlapped and attached to the top edge of the unit, while the lower part of the fabric is left loose to be folded internally on site to form a soil retention seal. The geotextile is specially designed to provide extended UV resistance compared to normal non-woven geotextiles. EBS MAC units are joined longitudinally, by using connecting pins to obtain the required length of the structure.
