The CMS-1 commander sight enables the vehicle commander to conduct observation, reconnaissance and target acquisition. The system consists of a day zoom camera, a cooled thermal imaging camera and a laser rangefinder. Thanks to this combination of sensors, the commander sight is capable of fulfilling its function day and night, in all light and weather conditions. The body of the system is ruggedized, resistant to shocks and vibrations and equipped with ballistic protection against damage caused by indirect hits. Overall, the commander sight represents one of the key elements of the vehicle equipment, as it provides a complete overview of the situation on the battlefield, speeds up the response to threats and increases the efficiency of decision-making during operations.
