Application of spectrometric detection unit enables database storage of measured gamma radiation spectra, automatic identification of radionuclides, and record of minor changes in radiation background. Combination of RMS into a single network (up to 256 units) and use of dedicated software to build automated radiation monitoring system (ARMS).
