MAIN MISSION OF THE BOAT IS TO TRANSFER AND DEPLOY THE NAVY SEAL TEAM TO THE AREA OF OPERATION AS FAST AND UNDETECTED AS POSSIBLE. IT HAS BEEN EQUIPPED WITH 12.7MM OR 25MM STABILIZED TURRET ON THE TOP OF THE WHEELHOUSE FOR 360 DEGREES CLEAR ENGAGEMENT COVERAGE AND E/O SYSTEMS FOR SURVEILLANCE AND SITUATIONAL AWARENESS. THE BOAT CAN ALSO CARRY 16 MISSION LOADED NAVY SEALS WITH 2 INFLATABLE MISSION BOATS ON BOARD. MRTP24/U MK2 SOC IS POWERED WITH 2 DIESEL ENGINES AND IS DRIVEN WITH WATERJET SYSTEM AND THE SPEED OF THE BOAT CAN REACH UP TO 54 KTS. THE RANGE AT ECONOMIC SPEED IS AROUND 500 NM.
