The Aerodynamics, Aeroelasticity, and Aeroacoustics Laboratory (LA3) is a leading national facility dedicated to cutting-edge research and testing in aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, and aeroacoustics. Operated under the highest international standards, LA3 provides critical support for experimental and computational studies in fluid mechanics, aircraft performance, structural dynamics, and noise analysis. The facility is equipped with advanced instrumentation and flow diagnostics, enabling researchers and engineers to conduct detailed investigations into various applications—from full-scale aircraft components to civil infrastructure such as bridges and buildings. LA3 is vital in advancing Indonesia’s aerospace capabilities while supporting non-aerospace sectors with versatile and accredited testing services.

The radar utilizes an active electronic scanning antennas (AESA) both in the azimuth and the elevation which allows operation without mechanical movement of the antennas. The radar meets relevant ICAO standards and follows the NATO Vision document, according to which the PAR technology will be used at least until 2040. The PAR NG is designed for target detection such as aircrafts, ground objects and meteorological formations. The detected information is displayed on workplace screens and radar information is transferred to remote ATC workplaces. The radar is particularly important in situations when the pilot has limited sight (because of fog, rain, etc.) and in emergency landing due to avionics failure. In this situation, the radar has to provide the approach controller with maximum quality radar display complemented by computer evaluation of speed, deviations from glide path/course line, the distance from the previously approaching aircraft, etc.

SAR 762 MT series, which is manufactured by completely domestic design and engineering to meet Türkiye's machine gun needs, is developed for both infantry and onboard use. SAR 762 MT series, which offers more shots with its quick barrel changeover feature, has at least 50 thousand shots of body and a barrel life of 25 thousand shots. The weapon, which can operate in temperatures between -42 and + 72°C, reaches 1,200m for regional targets. The maximum range of SAR 762 MT is 3,725 m. There are three different models of the machine gun with an open position/gas-driven assembly. While SAR 762 MT A series can be used in remote controlled weapon systems, SAR 762 MT C series can operate with the main weapon in the Cobra, Ejder Yalçın, Amazon, Kirpi, Vuran vehicles. SAR 762 MT B series developed for infantry use can be fired on both fork legs and tripods.
