The Garuda UAV RTN-40 is a heavy-class unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed for long-duration strategic missions. Powered by a 4-stroke EFI gasoline engine (with an optional heavy oil fuel variant), the RTN-40 delivers high performance with an impressive flight endurance of 8 to 10 hours per mission. With a wingspan of 4.6 meters and VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) capability, the RTN-40 requires no conventional runway and can operate in remote or hard-to-reach areas. It can reach altitudes of up to 6,500 meters and withstand wind speeds of up to 17.1 m/s, making it highly reliable in challenging weather conditions. Cruising at 90 km/h and reaching a maximum speed of 150 km/h, the RTN-40 can cover wide areas in a short amount of time. Its communication system offers a range of up to 200 kilometers and is supported by RTK/PPK DGPS technology, ensuring precise navigation and real-time data transmission. Control is managed through the Eagle Map system, with support from the GCS-303 Ground Control Station and the portable TC200 tablet, providing flexibility and ease of operation in the field. The Garuda UAV RTN-40 is ideally suited for strategic intelligence missions, large-scale area mapping, border surveillance, and both military and civilian operations requiring long-term reliability.
