In July 2020, KROSYS entered the Anti-Roll Tank (ART) system business by acquiring Pyeonghwa Engineering, a Korean company with a long-standing history and proven expertise in ART technology. While ART systems serve a similar purpose to fin stabilizers, they utilize a different mechanism. The system is composed of duct gates, air valves, and hydraulic units, which are precisely controlled in timed cycles to effectively reduce roll motion during vessel operation.
