Siapsiaga Village aims to make villages the frontline in creating a safe and resilient environment, through education, active community participation, and coordination between local governments, security forces, and the public. This program is essential in expanding the understanding of potential threats that may emerge at the smallest level of government, as well as building stronger social resilience across Indonesia. By starting the formation in several pilot villages, it is hoped that this initiative can serve as a model for other villages in building better preparedness in the future.
